We haven't had the most interesting day today, it has been more of a down day, just relaxing, prepairing ourselves for the busy week ahead. Tomorrow we need to finish our packing and on Tuesday we have to run into town for some appointments and to pick up the last things that we need before we leave on our trip. We're going to Florida for about 5 weeks. Vacation time!!! I can hardly wait...sun, sand and the ocean, and of course shopping!! Its going to be Emmy's first trip to Louis Vuittion! She can hardly wait, I've been trying to prepare her for it.
I'm excited to get some new Fall pieces for my wardrobe. I think the thing that I want the most would have to be a few pairs of flats. I can't believe I don't own any yet, but I haven't found any here that I actually would want to wear. But I'm sure I'll find some in Florida, and for a good price too, which is something I have started trying to do. My mother has been a bargin shopper all of her life, but that was something I seemed not to inherit. I seem to be attracted to the most expensive thing that the store carries. But after 19 years, I have finally started trying to buy things at a bargin. Try is the key word, I haven't completely mastered it yet, but I am working on it. Once I told someone that I was going to try and bargin shop, and they nearly died laughing. But alas, I am determined to do it. In all honesty, I really don't have a choice. I'm running short on funds, and I still want to be stylish, so I need to find the deals. Not that I don't think that expensive, beautiful creations shouldn't be had, I just think that they're should only be a few signature pieces in my wardrobe. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. That is if I can find a way to get online while I'm away.
Another thing that I have really been wanting is a pair of skinny jeans, preferably a dark denim pair. I think they would look so cute with a tunic tee, a belt and a pair of flats. Throw in a wide headband and a pair of big sunglasses and you have a great look. Now all you have to do is add the right bag and your all set. I really want a new bag for Fall, but I don't think I can afford one right now, so I guess I'll have to carry my Chloe "Betty" bag (that's a pic of it below) instead. I bought it this past spring, but I think it will do for fall.
Well thats all for now, I'm going to make myself a nice cup of tea and sit down to finish reading the new Haper's Bazaar, its a great issue, if you don't already have it you should go out and get it. Its a must have for fall fashion knowledge.
